Warhammer 40,000 – Codex: Adeptus Custodes (11th Edition) – 01-14
Codex: Adeptus Custodes is the complete army book for the Emperor's personal bodyguards in Warhammer 40,000. This 11th Edition codex brings together background information, hobby inspiration, and the current army rules, while also incorporating various Custodes units that were previously associated primarily with The Horus Heresy.
27 datasheets for the Ten Thousand
The codex contains 27 datasheets for the various warriors and war machines of the Adeptus Custodes. In addition to well-known units, you will now also find rules for models such as the Telemon Heavy Dreadnought, Pallas Grav-Attack, and Aquilon Terminators.
This gives the Adeptus Custodes access to a significantly wider arsenal, including heavy Dreadnoughts, grav-vehicles, elite infantry, and fast attack units.
13 different Detachments
The rules section includes 13 Detachments that allow you to assemble a diverse range of Custodes forces. Each Detachment supports a different army composition and playstyle, allowing you to focus your force on, for example, heavy elite units, fast attacks, or specialized combinations of different Custodes units.
The army rules have been rebuilt around the exceptional nature of the Custodes, where even individual warriors are portrayed as extremely powerful elite fighters.
Lore, collecting, and painting
In addition to the rules, the book contains extensive background information on the defenders of the Golden Throne. Artwork, historical information, and photography provide further context for the Adeptus Custodes and their place within the Imperium.
A separate hobby section offers inspiration for collecting, expanding, and painting a thematic army, including tips for color schemes and battlefield themes.
Compact format with slipcase
The standard edition is released as a 120-page softcover measuring approximately 185 x 250 mm, protected by a sturdy removable slipcase.
The fold-out front and back covers contain additional information about the Imperial Palace and a map showing key locations within the vast seat of the Imperium.
