Warhammer 40,000 – Tyranids – Haruspex – 51-19
This is a web-exclusive item – different discounts apply than to the regular Games Workshop range.
The Haruspex is a monstrous Tyranid bioform that exists to devour biomass. Where other Tyranids overwhelm, perforate, or psychically break the enemy, the Haruspex storms forward as a living shredder of claws, jaws, and hungry tentacles.
Brutal melee threat for your Tyranid army
On the battlefield, the Haruspex is ideal for players who want to give their Tyranids extra punching power in close combat. This is a large monster that puts pressure on the center of the table, threatens enemy lines, and forces opponents to target it with their heavy weapons.
It fits well into aggressive Tyranid lists with Hormagaunts, Tyranid Warriors, Carnifexes, and other monsters that together form a wave of biological threat.
Can be built as a Haruspex or Exocrine
This kit can be built as a Haruspex or an Exocrine. The Haruspex is the more aggressive, melee-focused option, with a gruesome head, prehensile tongue, multiple jaws, crushing claws, and the option for a thresher scythe tail biomorph.
The Exocrine, on the other hand, is the ranged variant of the kit, featuring heavy bio-artillery for players who prefer to pressure enemy elite infantry or heavy targets from a distance. This makes this box particularly interesting for Tyranid players who are still unsure which role their army needs most.
Painting fun with chitin, claws, and organic horror
For painters, the Haruspex is a great project full of organic textures. The large carapace plates are perfect for sharp edge highlights, stripes, spot patterns, or hive fleet colors, while the maw, tongue, teeth, and claws provide space for slimy, bloody, or toxic effects.
On the large base, you can give the model extra impact with broken Imperial flooring, jungle bases, acidic puddles, rotting biomass, or the remains of devoured enemies.
