Warhammer Tone Pro Ta'unar Ochre 5 is the lightest shade within the five-part Ta'unar Ochre color range. This bright, warm ochre tone is intended for final highlights on fabrics, leather, sandstone, dry earth, and other earthy surfaces.
Lightest shade of the Ta'unar Ochre range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges consisting of five ascending shades. Ta'unar Ochre 5 forms the final step in the color gradient and is ideal for the sharpest edges and most prominent details.
Use Ta'unar Ochre 1 and 2 for deep shadows, Ta'unar Ochre 3 as the central midtone, and Ta'unar Ochre 4 as the first highlight. Ta'unar Ochre 5 then provides the highest contrast.
Ideal for warm earthy highlights
The very light ochre tone works excellently for edges of cloaks, leather straps, weathered fabrics, and other natural materials. It can also be used to accentuate sandstone, dry earth, ruins, and dusty scenery.
By applying the color sparingly, the underlying ochre tones remain warm and natural, while textures are brought out more clearly.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Ta'unar Ochre 5 can be used for layering, edge highlighting, and drybrushing. Consequently, the paint works well both for precise highlights on miniatures and for quickly accentuating relief on bases and terrain.
When thinned, the color can also be applied as a glaze to soften transitions between Ta'unar Ochre 4 and the final highlight.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Ta'unar Ochre 5 specifically to the highest parts and sharpest edges. Use Ta'unar Ochre 4 as a transition shade and limit this lightest color to the most protruding details for a controlled result.
