Warhammer Tone Pro Ta'unar Ochre 3 is the central mid-tone within the five-part Ta'unar Ochre color range. This warm ochre-yellowish brown shade is ideal as a primary base color for fabrics, leather, earthy surfaces, weathered details, and warm armor colors.
Mid-tone of the Ta'unar Ochre range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges consisting of five progressive shades. Ta'unar Ochre 3 forms the middle of this range, making it perfectly suited as a central base color.
Use Ta'unar Ochre 1 and 2 for deeper shadows and then work towards lighter surfaces and sharp highlights using Ta'unar Ochre 4 and 5.
Ideal for earthy and warm surfaces
The warm ochre shade works excellently for cloaks, belts, leather equipment, and other natural materials. Dry earth, sandstone, ruins, and weathered scenery can also be easily built up using Ta'unar Ochre 3.
Additionally, the color is well-suited for warm armor panels, heraldry, and decorative details where a muted ochre color is desired.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Ta'unar Ochre 3 can be used for basecoating and layering, as well as for highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing.
By combining the paint with the other Ta'unar Ochre shades, you can create a complete color gradient without having to mix multiple intermediate colors yourself.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Ta'unar Ochre 3 as a central base color and work in several thin layers for even coverage. Use Ta'unar Ochre 1 and 2 for shadows and Ta'unar Ochre 4 and 5 to further build up lighter volumes and highlights.
