Warhammer Tone Pro Ta'unar Ochre 2 is a dark, warm ochre shade within the five-part Ta'unar Ochre colour range. This second tone provides the transition between the deepest shadow and the central midtone and is ideal for earthy surfaces, fabrics, leather, and weathered details.
Second shade of the Ta'unar Ochre range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with colour ranges of five ascending shades. Ta'unar Ochre 2 is positioned directly above Ta'unar Ochre 1, making it suitable for dark midtones and initial lighter layers.
Use Ta'unar Ochre 1 for the deepest shadows and then work with Ta'unar Ochre 3, 4, and 5 towards progressively lighter ochre shades and highlights.
Ideal for earthy and warm surfaces
The warm, brownish-orange colour works excellently for fabrics, cloaks, leather straps, bags, and other natural materials. Ta'unar Ochre 2 is also well-suited for dry earth, sandstone, ruins, and weathered scenery.
Additionally, the shade can be used on warm armour panels and decorative details where a muted ochre colour is desired.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same colour range. Ta'unar Ochre 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing and smooth transitions.
The paint is also suitable for highlighting and drybrushing on textured surfaces.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Ta'unar Ochre 2 as a dark base colour or as the first lighter layer over Ta'unar Ochre 1. Then continue working with Ta'unar Ochre 3 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter volumes and highlights.
