Warhammer Tone Pro Stormwolf Blue 4 is a lighter blue shade within the five-part Stormwolf Blue color range. This cool color is ideal for building initial highlights on armor, uniforms, cloaks, vehicles, and other muted blue surfaces.
Lighter shade of the Stormwolf Blue range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five progressive shades. Stormwolf Blue 4 forms the first distinct highlight above the central Stormwolf Blue 3 midtone.
Use Stormwolf Blue 1 and 2 for deeper shadows, Stormwolf Blue 3 as the central base color, and then work up to the highest parts with Stormwolf Blue 4 and the lighter Stormwolf Blue 5.
Ideal for armor and cool highlights
This light, cool blue shade works excellently for edges of armor plates, folds in uniforms and cloaks, and protruding details on vehicles. Stormwolf Blue 4 is also highly useful for weapon casings, technical parts, and other sci-fi or fantasy details.
Applying the color specifically to raised areas creates extra contrast while maintaining the cool and muted character of the underlying blue shades.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Stormwolf Blue 4 is suitable for layering and highlighting, but can also be thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
The paint is also well-suited for drybrushing on vehicles, armor, terrain, and other surfaces with plenty of texture.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Stormwolf Blue 4 in thin layers to raised areas above Stormwolf Blue 3. Use this shade for broader highlights and then work with Stormwolf Blue 5 on the sharpest edges and most prominent details.
