Warhammer Tone Pro Stormwolf Blue 3 is the central mid-tone within the five-part Stormwolf Blue colour range. This cool blue tint is ideal as a main base colour for armour, uniforms, cloaks, vehicles, and other muted blue surfaces.
Mid-tone of the Stormwolf Blue range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with colour ranges of five ascending tones. Stormwolf Blue 3 forms the middle of this range, making it excellently suited as a central base colour.
Use Stormwolf Blue 1 and 2 for deeper shadows and then work towards lighter areas and sharper highlights with Stormwolf Blue 4 and 5.
Ideal for armour and cool colour schemes
The cool mid-blue colour works excellently for armour plates, uniforms, cloaks, and other fabrics. Stormwolf Blue 3 is also highly useful for vehicles, weapon casings, technical parts, and sombre fantasy or sci-fi colour schemes.
As a central mid-tone, this colour offers enough depth for natural shadows, while leaving sufficient room to build up lighter highlights.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Stormwolf Blue 3 can be used for basecoating and layering, as well as for highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing.
By combining the paint with the other Stormwolf Blue tones, you can build a complete cool blue gradient without having to mix different intermediate colours yourself.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Stormwolf Blue 3 as a central base colour and work in multiple thin layers for an even finish. Use Stormwolf Blue 1 and 2 for the shadows and Stormwolf Blue 4 and 5 to further build up lighter volumes and highlights.
