Warhammer Tone Pro – Stormwolf Blue 1 – 20-331
Series: Warhammer Tone Pro
Type: Acrylic paint for miniatures
Color: Very dark cool blue
Tone: 1 of 5 – darkest shade
Content: 12 ml
Warhammer Tone Pro Stormwolf Blue 1 is the darkest shade within the five-part Stormwolf Blue color range. This deep, cool blue tone is ideal for shadows, dark base colors, and building up subdued blue surfaces on armor, fabrics, vehicles, and other hard or textile details.
Darkest shade of the Stormwolf Blue range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Stormwolf Blue 1 forms the darkest starting point and is intended for the deepest shadows within a cool blue color gradient.
Continue working with Stormwolf Blue 2 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter midtones and highlights without having to mix multiple intermediate colors yourself.
Ideal for armor and cool color schemes
The very dark blue tone works excellently for armor plates, uniforms, cloaks, and other fabrics. Stormwolf Blue 1 is also highly suitable for vehicles, weapon casings, technical parts, and somber fantasy or sci-fi color schemes.
As a deep shadow base, the color provides enough contrast to make lighter blue shades clearly stand out.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Stormwolf Blue 1 is suitable for basecoating, shading, and layering. When thinned, the paint can also be used for glazing and deepening shadows without harsh transitions.
This shade also offers a strong base for drybrushing and further highlights on armor, vehicles, and texture-rich scenery.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Stormwolf Blue 1 as a dark base color or place the shade strategically in recesses and deep shadows. Then work with Stormwolf Blue 2, 3, 4, and 5 toward increasingly lighter blue volumes and highlights.
