Warhammer Tone Pro Shalaxi Violet 5 is the lightest shade within the five-part Shalaxi Violet color range. This very light violet color is intended for the final highlights on cloaks, robes, armor details, monster skin, and magical effects.
Lightest shade of the Shalaxi Violet range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Shalaxi Violet 5 forms the final step in the color gradient and is ideal for the sharpest edges, highest volumes, and most illuminated details.
Use Shalaxi Violet 1 and 2 for the deep shadows, Shalaxi Violet 3 as the central midtone, and Shalaxi Violet 4 as the first highlight. Shalaxi Violet 5 then provides the highest contrast.
Ideal for fabrics, skin, and magical effects
The very light violet shade works excellently for sharp folds in cloaks and robes, the highest parts of demonic or alien skin, and fine accents on armor details. Shalaxi Violet 5 is also very useful for crystals, runes, magical energy, and luminous fantasy effects.
By applying the color sparingly, the deeper violet shades remain visible, while shapes and details are strongly emphasized.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Shalaxi Violet 5 can be used for layering, edge highlighting, and drybrushing. This makes the paint suitable for both precise highlights and quickly accentuating texture-rich surfaces.
When thinned, the color can also be used as a glaze to soften the transition between Shalaxi Violet 4 and the lightest accents.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Shalaxi Violet 5 specifically to the highest parts and sharpest edges. Use Shalaxi Violet 4 as a transition shade and limit this lightest color to the most illuminated details for a controlled and high-contrast result.
