Warhammer Tone Pro Shalaxi Violet 4 is a light violet shade within the five-part Shalaxi Violet color range. This color is ideal for building up initial highlights on cloaks, robes, armor details, monster skin, and magical effects.
Lighter shade of the Shalaxi Violet range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Shalaxi Violet 4 forms the first distinct highlight above the central Shalaxi Violet 3 mid-tone.
Use Shalaxi Violet 1 and 2 for deeper shadows, Shalaxi Violet 3 as the central base color, and then work with Shalaxi Violet 4 and the lighter Shalaxi Violet 5 toward the highest areas and sharpest highlights.
Ideal for fabrics, skin, and magical effects
The light violet shade works excellently for high folds in cloaks and robes, protruding areas of demonic or alien skin, and sharp accents on armor details. Shalaxi Violet 4 is also highly useful for crystals, runes, and magical energy.
By applying the color specifically to raised areas, extra contrast is created while the deeper violet shades from the previous layers remain visible.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Shalaxi Violet 4 is suitable for layering and highlighting, but can also be used thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
The paint is also well-suited for drybrushing on textured surfaces and for further building up bright magical or alien effects.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Shalaxi Violet 4 in thin layers on raised areas above Shalaxi Violet 3. Use this shade for broader highlights and then work with Shalaxi Violet 5 on the sharpest edges and most illuminated details.
