Warhammer Tone Pro Shalaxi Violet 1 is the darkest shade within the five-part Shalaxi Violet color range. This deep violet color is ideal for shadows, dark base colors, and building rich purple gradients on armor, fabric, skin, magic, and other striking details.
Darkest shade of the Shalaxi Violet range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Shalaxi Violet 1 forms the darkest starting point and is intended for the deepest shadow areas within a violet color gradient.
Continue working with Shalaxi Violet 2 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter midtones and highlights without having to mix intermediate colors yourself.
Ideal for fabric, skin, and magical effects
The very dark violet shade works excellently for cloaks, robes, armor details, and monster or demonic skin. Shalaxi Violet 1 is also highly useful for crystals, magical energy, runes, and other mysterious fantasy or sci-fi effects.
As a dark base, this shade provides sufficient depth to let the lighter violet colors from the range stand out clearly.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Shalaxi Violet 1 is suitable for basecoating, shading, and layering. When thinned, the paint can also be used for glazing and deepening shadow areas without creating harsh transitions.
This shade also offers a strong base as a dark undercoat for subsequent highlights on fabric, skin, armor, and textured surfaces.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Shalaxi Violet 1 as a dark base color or place the shade specifically in recesses and deep shadows. Then work with Shalaxi Violet 2, 3, 4, and 5 toward increasingly lighter violet volumes and highlights.
