Warhammer Tone Pro Seraphon Blue 4 is a light blue-green tone within the five-part Seraphon Blue color range. This color is ideal for building up initial highlights on armor, fabrics, reptilian skin, magical effects, and other cool surfaces.
Lighter tone of the Seraphon Blue range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending tones. Seraphon Blue 4 forms the first distinct highlight above the central Seraphon Blue 3 midtone.
Use Seraphon Blue 1 and 2 for the deeper shadows, Seraphon Blue 3 as the central base color, and then work with Seraphon Blue 4 and the lighter Seraphon Blue 5 towards the highest points.
Ideal for armor, skin, and lighting effects
The light blue-green color works excellently for edges of armor plates, folds in fabrics, and raised areas of reptilian skin. Seraphon Blue 4 is also highly useful for crystals, magical energy, and other striking effects.
Applying the tone specifically to raised and highlighted areas creates extra contrast without losing the deep blue-green character of the underlying layers.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Seraphon Blue 4 is suitable for layering and highlighting, but can also be thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
The paint is also well-suited for drybrushing on textured surfaces, scenery, and magical effects where lighter accents are quickly desired.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Seraphon Blue 4 in thin layers on raised areas above Seraphon Blue 3. Use this tone for broader highlights and subsequently work with Seraphon Blue 5 on the sharpest edges and most illuminated details.
