Warhammer Tone Pro Seraphon Blue 3 is the central midtone within the five-part Seraphon Blue color range. This bright teal hue is ideal as a primary base color for armor, fabrics, reptilian skin, magical effects, and other cool, vibrant surfaces.
Midtone of the Seraphon Blue range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Seraphon Blue 3 forms the center of this range, making it excellent as a central base color.
Use Seraphon Blue 1 and 2 for deeper shadows and then work with Seraphon Blue 4 and 5 towards lighter areas and sharp highlights.
Ideal for armor, skin, and magic
The bright teal color works excellently for armor plates, cloaks, fabrics, and other larger surfaces. Seraphon Blue 3 is also very useful for reptilian skin, crystals, magical effects, and energy accents.
As a central midtone, this color offers enough brightness to stand out immediately, while leaving plenty of room for both deep shadows and lighter highlights.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Seraphon Blue 3 can be used for basecoating and layering, but also for highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing.
By combining the paint with the other Seraphon Blue shades, you can build a complete teal color gradient without having to mix different intermediate colors yourself.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Seraphon Blue 3 as a central base color and work in multiple thin layers for an even finish. Use Seraphon Blue 1 and 2 for shadows and Seraphon Blue 4 and 5 to further build up lighter volumes and highlights.
