Warhammer Tone Pro Seraphon Blue 2 is a dark blue tone within the five-part Seraphon Blue colour range. This second tone forms the transition between the deepest shadow and the central midtone and is ideal for armour, fabrics, reptilian skin, magic, and other cool blue surfaces.
Second tone of the Seraphon Blue range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with colour ranges of five ascending tones. Seraphon Blue 2 is positioned directly above Seraphon Blue 1, making it suitable for dark midtones and the first lighter layers.
Use Seraphon Blue 1 for the deepest shadows and then work towards increasingly lighter blue areas and highlights with Seraphon Blue 3, 4, and 5.
Ideal for armour, fabrics, and magic
This dark blue tone works excellently for armour plates, cloaks, uniforms, and other larger blue surfaces. Seraphon Blue 2 is also very useful for reptilian skin, crystals, magical effects, and cold energy accents.
As a transition colour, this tone helps to gradually connect deep shadows with the brighter midtones from the rest of the range.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Seraphon Blue 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing and smooth colour transitions.
The paint is also suitable for highlighting and drybrushing on armour, terrain, and other highly textured surfaces.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Seraphon Blue 2 as a dark base colour or as the first lighter layer above Seraphon Blue 1. Then continue working with Seraphon Blue 3 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter volumes and highlights.
