Warhammer Tone Pro Seraphon Blue 1 is the darkest shade within the five-part Seraphon Blue color range. This deep blue hue is ideal for shadows, dark base colors, and building up rich blue surfaces on armor, fabrics, skin, magic, and other striking details.
Darkest shade of the Seraphon Blue range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Seraphon Blue 1 forms the darkest starting point and is intended for the deepest shadow areas within a blue color gradient.
Proceed by working with Seraphon Blue 2 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter midtones and highlights without having to mix multiple intermediate colors yourself.
Ideal for armor, fabrics, and magic
This very dark blue shade works excellently for armor plates, cloaks, uniforms, and other large blue surfaces. Seraphon Blue 1 is also highly useful for reptilian skin, magical effects, crystals, and cold energy accents.
The color can additionally serve as a deep shadow base for brighter blue color schemes where strong contrast is desired.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Seraphon Blue 1 is suitable for basecoating, shading, and layering. When thinned, the paint can also be used for glazing and deepening shadows without hard transitions.
On terrain, vehicles, and other surfaces with a lot of texture, this dark shade can also be used as an undercoat before lighter blue shades are applied.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Seraphon Blue 1 as a dark base color or place the shade specifically in recesses and deep shadow areas. Then work with Seraphon Blue 2, 3, 4, and 5 towards increasingly lighter blue volumes and highlights.
