Warhammer Tone Pro Scinari Blue 4 is a light blue tone within the five-part Scinari Blue color range. This bright color is ideal for building initial highlights on armor, robes, cloaks, magic effects, and other vibrant blue surfaces.
Lighter tone of the Scinari Blue range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges consisting of five ascending tones. Scinari Blue 4 forms the first distinct highlight above the central Scinari Blue 3 mid-tone.
Use Scinari Blue 1 and 2 for the deeper shadows, Scinari Blue 3 as the central base color, and then work with Scinari Blue 4 and the lighter Scinari Blue 5 towards the highest points and sharpest highlights.
Ideal for armor, fabrics, and magic
The light blue tone works excellently for edges of armor plates, high folds in robes and cloaks, and other well-lit details. Scinari Blue 4 is also highly useful for magical energy, crystals, runes, and striking fantasy or sci-fi effects.
Applying the color specifically to raised areas creates extra contrast while maintaining the powerful blue base of the color scheme.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Scinari Blue 4 is suitable for layering and highlighting, but can also be thinned for glazing and smooth color transitions.
The paint is also well-suited for drybrushing on textured surfaces and for building up bright energy and magic effects.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Scinari Blue 4 in thin layers to raised areas above Scinari Blue 3. Use this tone for broader highlights and then work with Scinari Blue 5 on the sharpest edges and most illuminated details.
