Warhammer Tone Pro Plague Toad Venom 4 is a lighter yellow-green shade within the five-part Plague Toad Venom colour range. This bright colour is ideal for building initial highlights on toxic liquids, monster skin, mutations, and other striking organic or supernatural effects.

Lighter shade of the Plague Toad Venom range

Warhammer Tone Pro works with colour ranges of five ascending shades. Plague Toad Venom 4 forms the first distinct highlight above the central Plague Toad Venom 3 mid-tone.

Use Plague Toad Venom 1 and 2 for the deeper shadows, Plague Toad Venom 3 as the central base colour, and then work with Plague Toad Venom 4 and the lighter Plague Toad Venom 5 towards the brightest accents.

Ideal for toxic highlights

The light toxic green colour works excellently for slime, poison, monster skin, mutations, and other unnatural surfaces. By applying Plague Toad Venom 4 specifically to raised areas, these effects gain extra contrast and a stronger, almost glowing appearance.

This shade is also very useful for plasma, warp energy, magic, and radioactive details.

Versatile Tone Pro formula

Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same colour range. Plague Toad Venom 4 is suitable for layering and highlighting, but can also be used thinned for glazing and soft colour transitions.

In addition, the paint is well-suited for drybrushing on organic surfaces and scenery with lots of texture.

Usage

Shake the paint well before use. Apply Plague Toad Venom 4 in thin layers on raised areas above Plague Toad Venom 3. Use this shade for broader highlights and then work with Plague Toad Venom 5 on the sharpest and brightest details.
