Warhammer Tone Pro Plague Toad Venom 3 is the central midtone within the five-part Plague Toad Venom color range. This bright, toxic yellow-green hue is ideal as a primary base color for toxic liquids, monster skin, mutations, and striking energy effects.
Midtone of the Plague Toad Venom range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Plague Toad Venom 3 forms the center of this range, making it excellent as a central base color.
Use Plague Toad Venom 1 and 2 for deeper shadows and then work with Plague Toad Venom 4 and 5 towards lighter, brighter highlights.
Ideal for poison and monster skin
The acid yellow-green color works excellently for slime, toxic liquids, monster skin, mutations, and other unnatural details. Plague Toad Venom 3 is also very useful for plasma, warp energy, magic, and radioactive effects.
As a central midtone, the color provides a striking, saturated base while leaving enough room for both dark shadows and very bright highlights.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Plague Toad Venom 3 can be used for basecoating and layering, but also for highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing.
By combining the paint with the other Plague Toad Venom shades, you can build up a complete toxic green color gradient without having to mix intermediate colors yourself.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Plague Toad Venom 3 as a central base color and work in multiple thin layers for even coverage. Use Plague Toad Venom 1 and 2 for the shadows and Plague Toad Venom 4 and 5 to further build up the lighter volumes and highlights.
