Warhammer Tone Pro Plague Toad Venom 2 is a dark yellow-green shade within the five-part Plague Toad Venom color range. This second shade forms the transition between the deepest shadow and the central base color and is ideal for toxic effects, monster skin, and other striking organic surfaces.
Second shade of the Plague Toad Venom range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Plague Toad Venom 2 is positioned directly above Plague Toad Venom 1, making it suitable for dark midtones and initial lighter layers.
Use Plague Toad Venom 1 for the deepest shadows and then work with Plague Toad Venom 3, 4, and 5 toward increasingly brighter yellow-green areas and highlights.
Ideal for poison and monster skin
The strong yellow-green color works excellently for toxic liquids, slime, monster skin, mutations, and other unnatural details. Plague Toad Venom 2 is also well-suited for glowing energy, magical effects, and radioactive accents.
As a transitional color, this shade helps to smoothly connect deep green shadows with brighter yellow-green midtones.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same color range. Plague Toad Venom 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
The paint is also suitable for highlighting and drybrushing on organic surfaces and scenery with high texture.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Plague Toad Venom 2 as a dark base color or as the first lighter layer over Plague Toad Venom 1. Then continue working with Plague Toad Venom 3 through 5 to build up increasingly brighter volumes and highlights.
