Warhammer Tone Pro Necrolith Bone 3 is the central midtone within the five-part Necrolith Bone color range. The warm, bone-colored beige tint is ideal as a main base color for bones, horns, parchment, skulls, and other weathered cream and beige shades.

Midtone of the Necrolith Bone range

Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five progressive shades. Necrolith Bone 3 forms the middle of this range, making it excellent as a central base color.

Use Necrolith Bone 1 and 2 for deeper shadows and then work with Necrolith Bone 4 and 5 toward lighter surfaces and sharp highlights. This allows you to easily build up a cohesive color gradient without having to mix multiple intermediate colors yourself.

Ideal for bones and parchment

The warm beige color works excellently for skeletons, skulls, teeth, claws, and horns. Parchment, book pages, purity seals, and weathered fabrics can also be easily built up with Necrolith Bone 3.

Its relatively neutral undertone also makes the color easy to combine with both dark brown tones and lighter cream and ivory colors.

Versatile Tone Pro formula

Necrolith Bone 3 is suitable for various painting techniques. Use the paint for basecoating and layering, or thin the color for glazing and soft transitions.

Highlighting and drybrushing are also well possible, ensuring the same color remains usable for both precise painting work and quickly accentuating structures on bases and scenery.

Use

Shake the paint well before use. Apply Necrolith Bone 3 as a central base color and work in several thin layers for even coverage. Use Necrolith Bone 1 and 2 for shadows and Necrolith Bone 4 and 5 for further building up highlights.
