Warhammer Tone Pro – Necrolith Bone 1 – 20-051
Series: Warhammer Tone Pro
Type: Acrylic paint for miniatures
Color: Dark bone / greyish yellow-brown
Tone: 1 of 5 – darkest shade
Content: 12 ml
Warhammer Tone Pro Necrolith Bone 1 is the darkest shade within the five-part Necrolith Bone color range. The muted bone color with grey-brown and yellowish undertones is ideal for deep shadows and dark base colors on bones, horns, skulls, parchment, and weathered natural materials.
Darkest shade of the Necrolith Bone range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Necrolith Bone 1 forms the darkest starting point and is intended for the deepest shadows and recesses.
Then, continue working with Necrolith Bone 2 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter midtones and highlights. This allows you to paint a full bone or cream-colored gradient without having to mix multiple intermediate colors yourself.
Ideal for bones and horns
The dark, muted shade works excellently as a base for skulls, skeletons, teeth, horns, and claws. Additionally, Necrolith Bone 1 is useful for parchment, book pages, old fabrics, and other weathered beige surfaces.
The color can also form a useful dark base layer for sandstone, dry scenery, and natural details.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paint is developed to make multiple painting techniques possible with the same paint. Necrolith Bone 1 can be used for basecoating, shading, and layering, but can also be applied thinned as a glaze.
The high pigmentation makes the color suitable as a solid base, while the other Necrolith Bone shades connect directly for further building up light and contrast.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Necrolith Bone 1 as a dark base color or use the shade specifically in recesses and shadows. Then work with Necrolith Bone 2, 3, 4, and 5 towards increasingly lighter surfaces and sharp highlights.
