Warhammer Tone Pro Megaboss Yellow 2 is a dark yellow-green shade within the five-part Megaboss Yellow color range. This second tone forms the transition between the deepest shadow and the central midtone, and is ideal for building up muted yellow and olive-colored surfaces.
Second tone of the Megaboss Yellow range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending tones. Megaboss Yellow 2 is positioned directly above Megaboss Yellow 1, making it suitable for dark midtones and initial lighter layers.
Use Megaboss Yellow 1 for the deepest shadows and then work with Megaboss Yellow 3, 4, and 5 towards increasingly lighter yellow-green surfaces and highlights.
Ideal for weathered armor and fabrics
The dark olive-yellow color works excellently for armor, fabrics, military color schemes, and other surfaces where you want to use a muted yellow instead of a bright, saturated shade.
Megaboss Yellow 2 is also well-suited for organic details, weathered scenery, mossy accents, and earthy color schemes.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same color range. Megaboss Yellow 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
The paint is also suitable for highlighting and drybrushing on surfaces with high relief.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Megaboss Yellow 2 as a dark base color or as the first lighter layer over Megaboss Yellow 1. Then continue working with Megaboss Yellow 3 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter volumes and highlights.
