Warhammer Tone Pro Megaboss Yellow 1 is the darkest shade within the five-part Megaboss Yellow color range. This deep yellow-green color is ideal for shadows, dark base colors, and building up muted yellow surfaces on armor, fabrics, and natural details.
Darkest shade of the Megaboss Yellow range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Megaboss Yellow 1 forms the darkest starting point and is intended for the deepest shadows within the color gradient.
Continue working with Megaboss Yellow 2 through 5 to gradually build up lighter midtones and highlights without having to mix different yellow-green intermediate colors yourself.
Ideal for muted yellow and natural tones
The dark yellow-green undertone works excellently for weathered armor, fabrics, military color schemes, and other surfaces where a less bright yellow is desired.
Megaboss Yellow 1 can also form a strong dark base for organic details, mossy tones, weathered scenery, and earthy color schemes.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same color range. Megaboss Yellow 1 can be used for basecoating, shading, and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing.
The paint is also suitable for drybrushing on terrain and other highly textured surfaces.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Megaboss Yellow 1 as a dark base color or use the shade specifically in recesses and deep shadow areas. Then work with Megaboss Yellow 2, 3, 4, and 5 towards increasingly lighter volumes and highlights.
