Warhammer Tone Pro Khemri Sands 5 is the lightest shade within the five-part Khemri Sands color range. This bright sandy color with a warm ochre-brown undertone is ideal for final highlights on sand, leather, fabrics, sandstone, and other earthy surfaces.

Lightest shade of the Khemri Sands range

Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five progressive shades. Khemri Sands 5 forms the final step in the color gradient and is intended for the highest parts and sharpest highlights.

Use Khemri Sands 1 and 2 for deep shadows, Khemri Sands 3 as a central midtone, and Khemri Sands 4 as a first highlight. Khemri Sands 5 then provides extra contrast and definition.

Ideal for sand and weathered materials

The light sandy color works excellently for dry earth, desert bases, sandstone, and dusty scenery. The shade can also be used on canvas, cloaks, leather, and weathered fabrics to apply sharp, warm highlights.

Applying the paint sparingly to protruding edges and textures creates a clear separation between the different volumes.

Versatile Tone Pro formula

Warhammer Tone Pro paint is suitable for multiple techniques within the same color range. Khemri Sands 5 can be used for layering, edge highlighting, and drybrushing, but can also be applied thinned for subtle glazes.

As a result, the color works both for precise highlights on miniatures and for quickly accentuating relief on bases and scenery.

Use

Shake the paint well before use. Apply Khemri Sands 5 precisely to the highest parts and sharpest edges. For a gradual transition, use Khemri Sands 4 first as an intermediate step and restrict this lightest shade to the most prominent details.
