Warhammer Tone Pro Khemri Sands 3 is the central midtone within the five-part Khemri Sands color range. This warm golden-sand color is ideal as a primary basecoat for desert bases, sand, weathered fabrics, parchment, and other earthy surfaces.
Midtone of the Khemri Sands range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Khemri Sands 3 forms the center of this range, making it particularly suitable as a primary base color.
Use Khemri Sands 1 and 2 for deeper shadows, then work with Khemri Sands 4 and 5 toward lighter areas and sharp highlights. This allows you to easily build a complete color gradient without having to mix different shades yourself.
Ideal for sand and desert themes
The warm sand color works excellently for desert bases, dunes, dusty surfaces, and sandstone. Additionally, Khemri Sands 3 is well-suited for parchment, cloaks, canvas, and other weathered fabrics.
The color combines easily with both darker earth tones and lighter cream, bone, and beige colors.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Khemri Sands 3 is suitable for various painting techniques. You can use the paint for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing.
With Tone Pro Shading Medium, you can also thin the paint into a shade or glaze, while Blending Medium provides extra working time for smooth color transitions.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Khemri Sands 3 as a central base color and work in several thin layers for even coverage. Use Khemri Sands 1 and 2 for the shadows and Khemri Sands 4 and 5 for further building up highlights.
