Warhammer Tone Pro Khemri Sands 2 is a dark sandy shade with a warm ochre brown undertone. Within the five-part Khemri Sands range, this color represents the second step from the deepest shadow toward the central base tone.
Second shade of the Khemri Sands range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Khemri Sands 2 lies directly above Khemri Sands 1 and is ideal for building up dark midtones.
Use Khemri Sands 1 for the deepest shadows and then work with Khemri Sands 3, 4, and 5 toward increasingly lighter areas and highlights.
Ideal for sand, dust, and fabric
The warm sand color is particularly well-suited for desert bases, dry earth, canvas, cloaks, leather components, and weathered fabrics. This shade is also very useful for sandstone, ruins, and terrain.
The muted ochre brown color combines easily with both dark earth tones and lighter beige, cream, and bone colors.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paint is developed for various painting techniques within one consistent color range. Khemri Sands 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing and soft transitions.
By combining the paint with the other Khemri Sands shades, you can build a complete color gradient without having to mix intermediate colors yourself.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Khemri Sands 2 as a dark base color or as the first lighter layer over Khemri Sands 1. Work in thin layers and then use Khemri Sands 3 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter volumes and highlights.
