Warhammer Tone Pro Khemri Sands 1 is the darkest shade in the five-part Khemri Sands colour range. The muted sand colour with a warm ochre-brown undertone is ideal for deep shadows, dark base colours, and natural materials such as sand, dust, leather, and weathered fabrics.
Darkest shade of the Khemri Sands range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with colour ranges of five progressive shades. Khemri Sands 1 forms the darkest starting point and is intended for the deepest shadows and darkest parts of a surface.
Continue working with Khemri Sands 2 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter midtones and highlights without having to mix different colours yourself.
Ideal for sand and natural materials
The dark sand and ochre tone works excellently for desert bases, dry earth, leather straps, canvas, cloaks, and weathered fabrics. The colour is also highly useful for ruins, terrain, and other dusty environments.
Due to its warm yet muted undertone, Khemri Sands 1 combines well with both earthy brown tones and lighter beige and bone colours.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
The Tone Pro formula is designed to be used for multiple painting techniques. Khemri Sands 1 can serve as a dark base colour but is also suitable for shading, layering, glazing, and drybrushing.
In combination with the lighter shades from the same range, you can build a complete colour gradient from deep shadow to sharp highlight.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Khemri Sands 1 as a dark base colour or use the paint specifically in recesses and shaded areas. Then continue with Khemri Sands 2, 3, 4, and 5 for increasingly lighter layers and highlights.
