Warhammer Tone Pro Hierotek Green 2 is a dark mint green shade within the five-part Hierotek Green color range. This second tone forms the transition between the deepest shadow and the central midtone and is ideal for energy effects, mysterious glows, technology, and cool green details.
Second tone of the Hierotek Green series
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending tones. Hierotek Green 2 is positioned directly above Hierotek Green 1, making it suitable for dark midtones and initial lighter layers.
Use Hierotek Green 1 for the deepest shadows and then work through Hierotek Green 3, 4, and 5 toward increasingly lighter mint green accents and highlights.
Ideal for energy and technological green
The dark mint green shade works excellently for energy fields, glowing weapons, crystals, and futuristic technology. Hierotek Green 2 is also very useful for armor details, magical effects, and cool green accents.
As a transitional color, this tone helps to gradually connect dark green shadows with the brighter, lighter tones from the rest of the range.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Hierotek Green 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing and smooth color transitions.
For glow and energy effects, this tone is particularly useful as an intermediate layer between the dark outer zones and the lighter core of the effect.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Hierotek Green 2 as a dark base color or as the first lighter layer over Hierotek Green 1. Then continue working with Hierotek Green 3 through 5 to build up increasingly bright green volumes and highlights.
