Warhammer Tone Pro Hawkshroud Yellow 5 is the lightest tint within the five-part Hawkshroud Yellow colour range. This very bright yellow tint is intended for the final highlights on yellow armour, vehicles, heraldry, and other prominent yellow surfaces.

Lightest tint of the Hawkshroud Yellow range

Warhammer Tone Pro works with colour ranges of five progressive tints. Hawkshroud Yellow 5 forms the final step in the colour gradient and is ideal for the sharpest edges and most prominent details.

Use Hawkshroud Yellow 1 and 2 for deep shadows, Hawkshroud Yellow 3 as the central mid-tone, and Hawkshroud Yellow 4 as the first highlight. Hawkshroud Yellow 5 then provides the highest contrast and the brightest yellow accents.

Ideal for sharp yellow highlights

This very light yellow tint works excellently for edge highlights on power armour, vehicles, shields, and heraldry. By applying the colour sparingly, the underlying yellow remains warm and saturated, while edges and protruding parts are brought out more clearly.

Hawkshroud Yellow 5 is also highly suitable as the brightest accent colour for warning markings, flames, and glowing light effects.

Versatile Tone Pro formula

Hawkshroud Yellow 5 can be used for layering, edge highlighting, and drybrushing. As a result, the paint works well for both precise highlights on miniatures and for quickly accentuating relief on larger surfaces.

When thinned, the colour can also be applied as a glaze to soften transitions between Hawkshroud Yellow 4 and the final highlight.

Use

Shake the paint well before use. Apply Hawkshroud Yellow 5 directly to the highest parts and sharpest edges. Use Hawkshroud Yellow 4 as a transition tint and limit this lightest colour to the most prominent details for a controlled and bright yellow gradient.
