Warhammer Tone Pro Hawkshroud Yellow 2 is a dark warm yellow shade within the five-part Hawkshroud Yellow color range. This second tone forms the transition between the deepest shadow and the central yellow tone, and is ideal for building up vibrant yellow on armor, heraldry, and other striking details.
Second tone of the Hawkshroud Yellow range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending tones. Hawkshroud Yellow 2 is positioned directly above Hawkshroud Yellow 1, making it suitable for dark midtones and initial lighter layers.
Use Hawkshroud Yellow 1 for the deepest shadows and then work with Hawkshroud Yellow 3, 4, and 5 toward increasingly brighter yellow areas and highlights.
Ideal for yellow armor and heraldry
The warm yellow-orange tone works excellently for power armor, vehicles, shields, banners, and heraldry. Hawkshroud Yellow 2 is also very useful for warning markings, flames, and other warm details.
As a transition color, this tone helps to smoothly connect deep orange-yellow shadows with brighter yellow midtones.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same color range. Hawkshroud Yellow 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
The paint is also suitable as a first highlight over a dark yellow or orange-yellow base.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Hawkshroud Yellow 2 as a dark base color or as the first lighter layer over Hawkshroud Yellow 1. Then continue working with Hawkshroud Yellow 3 through 5 to build up increasingly brighter yellow volumes and highlights.
