Warhammer Tone Pro Eye of Terror 5 is the lightest shade within the five-part Eye of Terror color range. This bright purple-red color is intended for the final highlights on armor, robes, demonic skin, mutations, and other dark fantasy or sci-fi details.
Lightest shade of the Eye of Terror range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five increasing shades. Eye of Terror 5 forms the final step in the color gradient and is ideal for the sharpest edges, highest volumes, and most illuminated details.
Use Eye of Terror 1 and 2 for deep shadows, Eye of Terror 3 as the central mid-tone, and Eye of Terror 4 as the first highlight. Eye of Terror 5 then provides the highest contrast.
Ideal for armor, skin, and dark effects
The very light purple-red shade works excellently for sharp edges on armor plates, high folds in robes, and the most protruding parts of demonic skin or mutations. Eye of Terror 5 is also very useful for tentacles, magical energy, and other supernatural details.
Applying the color sparingly allows the deeper purple-red tones to remain visible, while shapes and fine details are brought out more strongly.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Eye of Terror 5 can be used for layering, edge highlighting, and drybrushing. This makes the paint suitable for both precise highlights and quickly accentuating texture-rich surfaces.
When thinned, the color can also be used as a glaze to soften the transition between Eye of Terror 4 and the lightest accents.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Eye of Terror 5 specifically to the highest parts and sharpest edges. Use Eye of Terror 4 as a transition shade and limit this lightest color to the most illuminated details for a controlled and high-contrast result.
