Warhammer Tone Pro Craventhrone Cloak 4 is a light greenish-blue tint within the five-part Craventhrone Cloak color range. This cool, muted color is ideal for building up initial highlights on cloaks, robes, armor, weathered metals, and other atmospheric surfaces.
Lighter tint in the Craventhrone Cloak range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending tints. Craventhrone Cloak 4 forms the first clear highlight above the central Craventhrone Cloak 3 midtone.
Use Craventhrone Cloak 1 and 2 for the deeper shadows, Craventhrone Cloak 3 as the central base color, and then work toward the highest areas with Craventhrone Cloak 4 and the lighter Craventhrone Cloak 5.
Ideal for cloaks, armor, and weathered effects
The light greenish-blue tint works excellently for folds and edges on cloaks, robes, and other fabrics. Craventhrone Cloak 4 is also highly useful for armor plates, weathered metal, patina, and cold fantasy color schemes.
Applying the paint specifically to raised areas creates extra contrast, while maintaining the muted and cool character of the underlying tints.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Craventhrone Cloak 4 is suitable for layering and highlighting, but can also be used thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
The paint is also well-suited for drybrushing on fabrics, weathered metals, bases, and highly textured scenery.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Craventhrone Cloak 4 in thin layers on raised areas above Craventhrone Cloak 3. Use this tint for broader highlights and then work with Craventhrone Cloak 5 on the sharpest edges and most prominent details.
