Warhammer Tone Pro Craventhrone Cloak 3 is the central midtone within the five-part Craventhrone Cloak color range. This muted teal hue is ideal as a primary base color for cloaks, robes, armor, weathered metals, and other cool, atmospheric surfaces.
Midtone of the Craventhrone Cloak range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Craventhrone Cloak 3 forms the middle of this range, making it excellently suited as a central base color.
Use Craventhrone Cloak 1 and 2 for deeper shadows and then work with Craventhrone Cloak 4 and 5 towards lighter teal areas and sharp highlights.
Ideal for cloaks, armor, and weathering effects
The muted teal color works excellently for cloaks, robes, and other fabrics with a cool character. Craventhrone Cloak 3 is also very useful for armor parts, weathered metal, patina, and somber fantasy color schemes.
As a central midtone, this color offers enough depth for natural shadows, while leaving enough room to build clear highlights with the lighter shades.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Craventhrone Cloak 3 can be used for basecoating and layering, but also for highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing.
By combining the paint with the other Craventhrone Cloak shades, you can build a complete teal color gradient without having to mix different intermediate colors yourself.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Craventhrone Cloak 3 as a central base color and work in several thin layers for even coverage. Use Craventhrone Cloak 1 and 2 for the shadows and Craventhrone Cloak 4 and 5 to further build up lighter volumes and highlights.
