Warhammer Tone Pro Craventhrone Cloak 2 is a dark teal shade within the five-part Craventhrone Cloak color range. This second tone forms the transition between the deepest shadow and the central midtone and is ideal for cloaks, robes, armor, weathered metals, and other cool surfaces.
Second tone of the Craventhrone Cloak range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending tones. Craventhrone Cloak 2 is positioned directly above Craventhrone Cloak 1, making it suitable for dark midtones and the first lighter layers.
Use Craventhrone Cloak 1 for the deepest shadows and then work with Craventhrone Cloak 3, 4, and 5 toward increasingly lighter teal areas and highlights.
Ideal for cloaks, armor, and weathered effects
The dark teal color works excellently for cloaks, robes, fabrics, and shadowed armor parts. Craventhrone Cloak 2 is also very useful for weathered metal, patina, cool skin tones, and somber fantasy color schemes.
As a transitional color, this tone helps to gradually connect dark shadows with the lighter turquoise and teal tones from the rest of the range.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Craventhrone Cloak 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
The paint is furthermore suitable for highlighting and drybrushing on fabrics, armor, rough metals, and heavily textured scenery.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Craventhrone Cloak 2 as a dark base color or as the first lighter layer over Craventhrone Cloak 1. Then continue with Craventhrone Cloak 3 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter volumes and highlights.
