Warhammer Tone Pro Craventhrone Cloak 1 is the darkest shade within the five-part Craventhrone Cloak color range. This very dark teal shade is ideal for deep shadows, dark base colors, and building cool color gradients on cloaks, fabrics, armor, and weathered surfaces.

Darkest shade of the Craventhrone Cloak range

Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Craventhrone Cloak 1 forms the darkest starting point and is intended for the deepest shadows within a cool teal color gradient.

Continue working with Craventhrone Cloak 2 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter midtones and highlights without having to mix multiple intermediate colors yourself.

Ideal for cloaks, armor, and patina

The very dark teal color works excellently for cloaks, robes, fabrics, and shadowy armor parts. Craventhrone Cloak 1 is also very useful for weathered metal, patina, cold skin tones, and dark fantasy color schemes.

The shade can also be used as a dark base under lighter turquoise and teal accents for extra depth and contrast.

Versatile Tone Pro formula

Craventhrone Cloak 1 is suitable for basecoating, shading, and layering. Diluted, the paint can be applied for glazing and deepening shadows without hard transitions.

This shade also provides a strong foundation as a dark underlayer for drybrushing and further highlights on fabrics, armor, and texture-rich scenery.

Usage

Shake the paint well before use. Apply Craventhrone Cloak 1 as a dark base color or place the shade strategically in recesses and deep shadows. Then work with Craventhrone Cloak 2, 3, 4, and 5 toward increasingly lighter teal volumes and highlights.
