Warhammer Tone Pro Chotek Orange 5 is the lightest shade within the five-part Chotek Orange color range. This bright orange tone is intended for final highlights on orange armor, fabrics, heraldry, and warm light effects.

Lightest shade of the Chotek Orange range

Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five progressive shades. Chotek Orange 5 forms the final step in the color gradient and is ideal for the sharpest edges and most prominent details.

Use Chotek Orange 1 and 2 for deep shadows, Chotek Orange 3 as a central mid-tone, and Chotek Orange 4 as a first highlight. Chotek Orange 5 then provides the highest contrast.

Ideal for sharp orange highlights

This very light orange tone works excellently for edge highlights on power armor, vehicles, shields, cloaks, and other orange surfaces. By applying the color sparingly, the underlying orange tones remain vibrant and saturated.

Chotek Orange 5 is also highly suitable as a brightest accent color for fire, glowing details, and other warm light effects.

Versatile Tone Pro formula

Chotek Orange 5 can be used for layering, edge highlighting, and drybrushing. This makes the paint suitable for both precise highlights on miniatures and for quickly accentuating texture on larger surfaces.

When thinned, the color can also be used as a glaze to soften transitions between Chotek Orange 4 and the final highlight.

Usage

Shake the paint well before use. Apply Chotek Orange 5 precisely to the highest points and sharpest edges. Use Chotek Orange 4 as a transition shade and limit this lightest color to the most prominent details for a controlled result.
