Color: Light orange
Tone: 4 of 5

Warhammer Tone Pro Chotek Orange 4 is a lighter orange shade within the five-part Chotek Orange color range. This bright color is ideal for building initial highlights on orange armor, fabrics, heraldry, and warm light effects.
Lighter shade of the Chotek Orange range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Chotek Orange 4 forms the first clear highlight above the central Chotek Orange 3 mid-tone.
Use Chotek Orange 1 and 2 for the deeper shadows, Chotek Orange 3 as a base color, and then work with Chotek Orange 4 and the lighter Chotek Orange 5 towards the highest parts and sharpest edges.
Ideal for orange highlights
The light orange shade works excellently for power armor, vehicles, shields, cloaks, and heraldry. By applying Chotek Orange 4 specifically to raised areas, the surface gains more contrast and warmth without jumping directly to the lightest highlight.
This shade is also well-suited for fire, glowing details, and other warm effects.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same color range. Chotek Orange 4 is suitable for layering and highlighting, but can also be used thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
Additionally, the paint is well-suited for drybrushing on surfaces with a lot of relief.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Chotek Orange 4 in thin layers to raised areas above Chotek Orange 3. Use the color for broader highlights and then work with Chotek Orange 5 on the sharpest edges and most prominent details.
