Warhammer Tone Pro Carthalos Skin 2 is a very dark brown tone for building up deep skin tones. Within the five-part Carthalos Skin range, this color forms the second step from the deepest shadow toward the central base tone.

Second tone of the Carthalos Skin range

Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending tones. Carthalos Skin 2 is located directly above Carthalos Skin 1 and is therefore ideal for the transition between the deepest shadows and the base color.

Use Carthalos Skin 1 for the darkest recesses and then work with Carthalos Skin 3, 4, and 5 toward lighter skin areas and highlights.

Ideal for dark skin tones

The deep brown color is developed for painting dark skin and works excellently on faces, arms, hands, and other skin surfaces. By using the tone as a dark midtone, skin volumes remain clearly visible without the contrast becoming too strong.

Carthalos Skin 2 can also be combined with other warm brown and red tones to add more variety to skin tones.

Versatile Tone Pro formula

Warhammer Tone Pro paints are suitable for various painting techniques. Carthalos Skin 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be applied thinned for glazing and soft transitions.

With Tone Pro Shading Medium, the paint can be further thinned into a shade or glaze, while Blending Medium offers extra drying time for smooth color gradients.

Usage

Shake the paint well before use. Apply Carthalos Skin 2 as a dark skin color or as the first lighter layer above Carthalos Skin 1. Then continue working with Carthalos Skin 3 through 5 to further define skin volumes, highlights, and facial features.
