Warhammer Tone Pro Bloodtoof Red 3 is the central midtone within the five-part Bloodtoof Red color range. This powerful, saturated red is ideal as a primary base color for red armor, fabrics, shields, heraldry, and other eye-catching details.
Midtone of the Bloodtoof Red range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending tones. Bloodtoof Red 3 forms the center of this range, making it perfectly suited as a central base color.
Use Bloodtoof Red 1 and 2 for the deeper shadows and then work with Bloodtoof Red 4 and 5 toward lighter areas and sharp highlights.
Ideal for powerful red armor
The saturated red color works exceptionally well for power armor, vehicles, shields, cloaks, and tabards. Bloodtoof Red 3 is also very useful for heraldry, banners, and small red accents.
As a central midtone, this color provides a clear, powerful red base while leaving enough room for both dark shadows and bright highlights.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Bloodtoof Red 3 can be used for basecoating and layering, but also for highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing.
By combining the paint with the other Bloodtoof Red tones, you can build a complete red gradient without having to mix intermediate shades yourself.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Bloodtoof Red 3 as a central base color and work in several thin layers for even coverage. Use Bloodtoof Red 1 and 2 for shadows and Bloodtoof Red 4 and 5 to further build up lighter volumes and highlights.
