Warhammer Tone Pro Bloodtoof Red 1 is the darkest shade within the five-part Bloodtoof Red color range. This deep, saturated red is ideal for shadows, dark base colors, and building up vibrant red on armor, clothing, weapons, and heraldry.
Darkest shade of the Bloodtoof Red range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges consisting of five progressive shades. Bloodtoof Red 1 serves as the darkest starting point and is intended for the deepest shadows and darkest areas of a red color gradient.
Proceed by working with Bloodtoof Red 2 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter midtones and highlights without needing to mix different red shades yourself.
Ideal for red armor and fabrics
The deep red color works exceptionally well for power armor, shields, cloaks, tabards, and banners. Bloodtoof Red 1 is also highly useful for heraldry, weapon details, and other prominent red accents.
As a dark base, this shade provides sufficient depth, allowing the lighter Bloodtoof Red colors to build clear contrast.

Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for various painting techniques within the same color range. Bloodtoof Red 1 can be used for basecoating, shading, and layering, but can also be diluted for glazing.

Usage
