Warhammer Tone Pro Blackstone Void 4 is a light grey shade within the five-part Blackstone Void colour range. This tone is intended for the first distinct highlights on black and dark grey surfaces and works excellently on armour, weapons, clothing, and technical details.
Lighter tone in the Blackstone Void range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with colour ranges of five ascending tones. Blackstone Void 4 forms the first distinct highlight above the central Blackstone Void 3 midtone.
Use Blackstone Void 1 and 2 for the deeper shadows, Blackstone Void 3 as the midtone, and then work with Blackstone Void 4 and the even lighter Blackstone Void 5 towards the sharpest highlights.
Ideal for black armour and grey transitions
The light grey tone works excellently for accentuating black power armour, weapons, machines, vehicles, and clothing. By applying Blackstone Void 4 in a controlled manner along raised areas and edges, the surface remains visually dark, while shapes and details are brought out more clearly.
The colour is also well-suited for stone, concrete, and industrial scenery.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same colour range. Blackstone Void 4 can be used for layering and highlighting, as well as for glazing and drybrushing.
This allows you to use the same colour for crisp edge highlights on miniatures and for softer light accents on terrain, bases, and other surfaces with a lot of texture.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Blackstone Void 4 in thin layers on raised areas above Blackstone Void 3. Use the colour for broader highlights and then work with Blackstone Void 5 on the sharpest edges and most prominent details.
