Warhammer Tone Pro Blackstone Void 2 is a very dark grey-black shade within the five-part Blackstone Void color range. This second color forms the transition between deep black and the lighter midtones and is ideal for building controlled highlights on black surfaces.
Second shade in the Blackstone Void range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges consisting of five progressive shades. Blackstone Void 2 is positioned directly above Blackstone Void 1, making it suitable as the first lighter step above a black base color.
Use Blackstone Void 1 for the deepest shadows, then work with Blackstone Void 3, 4, and 5 to create progressively lighter grey highlights.
Ideal for black armor and clothing
This very dark grey shade works excellently for black power armor, weapons, cloaks, leather parts, and mechanical surfaces. By applying Blackstone Void 2 along raised areas and edges, the surface remains clearly black while details become more readable.
This shade is also highly useful for rubber, tires, dark stone, and industrial scenery.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same color range. Blackstone Void 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be thinned for glazing and smooth transitions.
The color is also suitable for highlighting and drybrushing on surfaces where a subtle grey-black accent color is desired.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Blackstone Void 2 as a very dark base color or as the first highlight above Blackstone Void 1. Then continue working with Blackstone Void 3 through 5 to progressively lighten the edges and highest points.
