Space Marines – Kaius Konorius – 55-77

Kaius Konorius is an experienced champion of the Ultramarines and a master of close combat. Once a neophyte fighting alongside Marneus Calgar and Chaplain Cassius, he went on to train other battle-brothers in swordplay on Macragge. He now serves as the Chapter Master's personal champion.

Master duelist

Konorius specializes in close-quarters combat and is equally at home against enemy Characters as he is against larger groups of infantry. This makes him a character model that fits perfectly into an aggressive Space Marine force looking to put pressure on its opponents in melee.

In addition, he helps protect the Leader of the unit he joins against Precision attacks, providing not only offensive but also support value.

Armed for close combat

Kaius wears heavy Ultramarines armor that visually aligns with the elite appearance of the Victrix Guard. He is armed with powerful close-combat weapons, including his power sword and power axe, clearly underscoring his role as a champion and duelist.

His combination of ornate heraldry, heavy armor, and weaponry makes him a striking addition to an Ultramarines army.

Characterful centerpiece for Ultramarines

As an individual Character model, Kaius offers plenty of scope for detailed painting. The blue armor panels, gold details, heraldry, and weapons are excellent for sharp edge highlights, weathered metal, and subtle battle damage.

Thanks to his stately equipment and recognizable Ultramarines iconography, he also works well as a visual centerpiece among other elite units and veterans.
