This is a web-exclusive item - different discounts apply here than to the regular Games Workshop range.
The Hell Pit Abomination is a nightmarish monster from the mad laboratories of Clans Moulder. Stitched together from flesh, bone, warpstone experiments, and pure Skaven cruelty, this failed creation storms onto the battlefield as a writhing mass of claws, teeth, tails, and unnatural muscle power.
Monstrous Threat for Skaven Armies
On the battlefield, the Hell Pit Abomination is ideal for Skaven players who want to give their army a large, terrifying melee threat. Where Clanrats fill the board and Skryre machines cause chaos from a distance, this monster brings brutal physical pressure to the center of the table.
It fits perfectly into an army with a strong Moulder theme, alongside Rat Ogors, Master Moulders, and other mutated creations. It is also a striking choice in broader Skaven armies, forcing the opponent to immediately contend with a large monster that cannot be ignored.
Clans Moulder Horror in One Model
The Hell Pit Abomination has everything that makes Skaven experiments so recognizable: multiple limbs, twisted bodies, crude stitches, rat heads, claws, metal implants, and a complete lack of natural anatomy. The model feels as if it could fall apart at any moment, but it is precisely because of this that it is all the more dangerous.
The kit includes additional Skaven, Rat Ogor, and monstrous parts to make the creature even more gruesome and personal. This makes every Hell Pit Abomination easy to build slightly differently, especially when combined with other Moulder conversions.
Painting Fun with Flesh, Scars, and Warpstone Mutations
For painters, the Hell Pit Abomination is a fantastic horror project. The large skin surfaces allow for sickly flesh tones, blue bruises, purple shadows, red wounds, scars, stitches, and glistening slime effects.
The metal parts, chains, and implants are perfect for rust, dirt, and dark washes. Bases with sewer bricks, mud, warpstone, broken laboratory floors, blood trails, or overgrown ruins enhance the feeling of an escaped experiment from the depths of Hell Pit.
