Krautcover Red Horizon Basecover is a ready-to-use basing mix for creating red desert and wasteland bases. The mix combines red sand with various structural elements and small pieces of scrap for a weathered, post-apocalyptic look.

For desert and wasteland bases

Red Horizon is ideal for sci-fi battlefields, Mars-like landscapes, industrial ruins, and abandoned desert areas. The combination of fine and coarser materials immediately provides a varied natural texture.

The mix can be used on miniature bases, terrain pieces, and dioramas.

Easy to use

Apply basing glue to the base and sprinkle the mix over it, or press the base directly into the material. After drying, the surface can be further finished with washes, pigments, tufts, or additional weathering.
