Warhammer 40,000 – Orks – Kill Rig / Hunta Rig – 50-46
The Kill Rig is a roaring, rattling, and utterly over-the-top Ork war vehicle, pulled by a massive Squigosaur and loaded with Beast Snagga Boyz, weapons, chains, trophies, and pure Waaagh! energy. This is no subtle transport, but a mobile altar of violence charging straight at the enemy.
Beast Snagga centerpiece for Orks
On the battlefield, the Kill Rig is ideal for Ork players who want to give their army a large, aggressive centerpiece. It fits perfectly with a Beast Snagga theme including Squighog Boyz, Beast Snagga Boyz, Painbosses, Beastbosses, and Mozrog Skragbad.
The Kill Rig brings mobility, threat, and a lot of character to an Ork army. As your Boyz and Snaggas charge forward, this rolling disaster can pressure objectives, threaten enemy units, and visually dominate the table.
Can be built as a Kill Rig or Hunta Rig
This kit can be built as a Kill Rig or as a Hunta Rig with a separate Wurrboy. The Kill Rig has a stronger spiritual and Beast Snagga ritual theme, with a Wurrboy channeling Waaagh! energy from the platform.
The Hunta Rig emphasizes the raw hunting wagon look: a heavily armed monster transport full of Orks, suitable for players who primarily want to showcase the brutal Squig-puller, the crew, and the ramshackle Ork construction. Both variants are full of details such as planks, ropes, chains, trophies, weapons, and improvised mechanics.
Painting fun with squig-hide, rust, and Ork chaos
For painters, the Kill Rig is a fantastic centerpiece project. The enormous Squigosaur offers plenty of room for skin tones, scars, scales, teeth, claws, and glossy maw details. The vehicle itself is perfect for rust, chipping, weathered metal, bright Ork colors, dusty wooden parts, and damaged armor plates.
Bases and details with desert dust, mud, broken barricades, skulls, scrap metal, and grot-like clutter fit perfectly with the Beast Snagga style. By painting the model in subassemblies, you can much more easily reach the crew, platform, and Squigosaur effectively.
