The Riders of Rohan are the proud horsemen of the Riddermark: swift cavalry that ride into battle with spear, sword, axe, and bow to defend the lands of Rohan. This refreshed plastic kit brings the Rohirrim to the table in dynamic poses, perfect for players who love speed, charges, and classic Middle-earth cavalry.
Swift cavalry for Rohan
On the battlefield, Riders of Rohan are ideal for threatening flanks, seizing objectives, and putting pressure on enemy lines. They are not meant to remain passive in the rear; their strength lies in movement, positioning, and choosing the right moment to strike.
In Rohan armies, they form a natural complement to Warriors of Rohan, heroes such as Théoden, Éomer, and Éowyn, and scenarios based on the defense of the Westfold or the great cavalry charges of the War of the Ring.
Much variation in weapons and horses
This kit builds 6 Riders of Rohan with various weapon options. Four riders can be built with a hand weapon or throwing spear, with bows on their backs. Two riders have their bows ready, with hand weapons stowed at their sides.
All six horses are unique, and the riders can be placed on different horses. This provides a lot of variation in your cavalry line, especially when combining multiple boxes for a larger Rohirrim force.
Painting pleasure with horses, cloaks and Rohan details
For painters, this set is a great opportunity to work with natural horse tones, leather, chainmail, green cloaks, and weathered weapons. The models fit perfectly with a classic Rohan look featuring earthy colors, wood, bronze, steel, and the recognizable green of the Riddermark.
