The Witchburner is a feared field officer of the Inquisition, specializing in tracking down and punishing witches, heretics, and other enemies of the faith. On the battlefield, he combines heavy armor with religious authority and brutal close-combat strength.

Inquisitorial elite

The Witchburner is equipped with Reinforced Armour, a Combat Helmet, and the characteristic Gavel of Justice. Additionally, he can condemn enemies from a distance with Divine Judgement, allowing him to be used both supportively and aggressively.

Within Trench Crusade, the Witchburner can be added as a Mercenary to suitable New Antioch and Trench Pilgrims warbands.

Strong grimdark painting model

The heavy armor, religious symbolism, and imposing war hammer offer plenty of scope for weathered steel, leather, soot, mud, and fiery accents. This makes the model also a strong character piece for painters.
