Legio Custodes - Sentinel Guard Sodality

Legio Custodes – Sentinel Guard Sodality – 77-07

Sentinel Guard form the defensive elite of the Legio Custodes. Armed with heavy Praesidium Shields and Sentinel Warblades, they are perfectly suited to defend key positions, protect valuable units, and absorb enemy attacks head-on.

Unwavering defensive line

The combination of heavy shields and elite combat skills makes the Sentinel Guard particularly well-suited as the sturdy core of a Custodes force. They can hold important objectives and form a blockade that is difficult for enemy units to displace.

Despite their defensive role, they remain dangerous in close combat and can strike back powerfully from a protected position as soon as the enemy comes within range.

Sentinel Warblades and Praesidium Shields

Every Sentinel Guard is equipped with a Sentinel Warblade, Misericordia, and Praesidium Shield. The models can be built with either the Warblade or the Misericordia in the left hand, allowing you to create a variety of poses.

One model can also be built as a Sentinel Vexillarius. In this case, the Praesidium Shield is replaced by a Magisterium Vexilla, providing the unit with an eye-catching command model.

Extensive customization

The kit includes 13 interchangeable heads, consisting of 6 helmeted and 7 unhelmeted variants. Additionally, you get 6 interchangeable helmet plumes and 6 different Praesidium Shields.

This allows you to give every Custodian a unique look without the squad losing its uniform and imposing character.

Richly detailed Custodes painting project

The models feature sculpted iconography, filigree, and richly decorated auramite armor. This makes them ideal for deep gold tones, red accents, polished metal, and sharp highlights.

The large shields also offer extra space for contrast, weathered edges, and individual details, allowing each Sentinel Guard to be worked on as a separate painting project.
