Legio Custodes - Custodian Guard Sodality

Legio Custodes – Custodian Guard Sodality – 77-04

Custodian Guard form the core of the Legio Custodes and are among the most formidable warriors in the Imperium. Clad in richly decorated auramite armor and armed with iconic Guardian Spears, they combine exceptional durability with lethal precision at both range and in close combat.

Elite infantry of the Emperor

This multipart plastic kit builds six Custodian Guard that function excellently as the solid core of a Legio Custodes force. Thanks to their combination of mobility, protection, and offensive power, they are particularly well-suited for capturing and reclaiming key objectives.

Their Guardian Spears combine a built-in ranged weapon with a powerful close-combat lance, allowing the unit to respond flexibly to various threats.

Optional Magisterium Vexilla

One Custodian Guard can replace their Guardian Spear with a Magisterium Vexilla. This imposing standard gives the model a clear command role while serving as a striking visual centerpiece within the squad.

This allows you to further customize the unit in terms of both appearance and composition to suit your Legio Custodes force.

Extensive customization

The kit contains no fewer than 23 interchangeable heads, consisting of 12 helmeted and 11 unhelmeted variants. Additionally, there are six interchangeable helmet plumes available.

This allows you to give each Custodian Guard a unique look, while the ornate iconography, filigree, and richly detailed armor ensure that the squad remains recognizable as one impressive unit.

Many possibilities for painters

The large auramite armor surfaces are ideal for gold tones, warm shades, and sharp metallic highlights. Red plumes, leather details, weapons, and gemstones then provide contrasting color accents.

By adding subtle battle damage, weathered metal, and light dust effects, you can give the Custodians a more battle-worn appearance without losing their ceremonial character.
